Accommodation: Chalet apartment - 3 Bedrooms (sleeps 6), 2 bathrooms, kitchen and spacious living room opening onto a balcony with commanding views of the Jungfrau mountain range.

	A south-facing first floor apartment in beautiful Lauterbrunnen (the heart of the Jungfrau region), surrounded by meadows with stunning views of the valley. Locally there is a great choice of leisure activities including hiking, sledging, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, heli-skiing, snowboarding, swimming, rafting, tennis, biking (bike rental 5 minute walk from apartment), bungy jumping, paragliding, roller-blading and jogging. A three minute bus ride or a beautiful walk alongside a mountain creek takes you to the village centre for restaurants and shops. In the village is Lauterbrunnen train station connecting to Interlaken, home to the Tell open-air theatre, and numerous lake cruises. Alternatively, you can take the mountain railway from Lauterbrunnen through Wengen to the Jungfraujoch, the highest station in Europe (3454 m) or cable car to Grütschalp, which connects by mountain rail to Mürren. To return to the apartment simply take a bus, stopping coveniently every 15 minutes within 200m of the apartment. In the other direction, away from the village, the bus will connect you to the famous Trümmelbach falls or to Schilthornbahn (about a 10 minute ride), providing easy access to the Jungfrau skiing and hiking area. The apartment is very comfortable with underfloor heating throughout. The kitchen is modern and well equipped with granite worktops, microwave, hob, oven, and dishwasher. Bathroom 1 includes bath, shower and twin sinks and bathroom 2 a shower and single sink. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, two double beds and one with twin single beds. The apartment also includes a private garage within 20m of the front door. Good road links to the rest of Europe give easy access from Calais or Zeebrugge.
